The Pembina Manitou Culture and Heritage Association in involved in the following programs: - maintaining records of heritage sites in the region - maintaining the Pembina Manitou archive to preserve the physical archival materials of the community - maintaining the Pembina Manitou Archive web site a regional digital archive which preserves and promotes heritage and history in southern Manitoba. - plan local heritage gatherings in celebration of the community and its people - supports local heritage projects raising funds for restoration of heritage buildings and community sites The most recent project is raising funds for the restoration of the 1898 Manitou La Riviere CPR Railway station depot.
