About Peer Support North
Nisa/northern iniative for social action is an organization run by and for consumers of mental health services. We develop occupational skills nurture self-confidence and provide resources for recovery by creating opportunities for participants to contribute to their own well-being and that of their community. As a consumer/survivor initiative (csi) we function as a gateway to community-based programs and services providing acceptance a social existence and a place to belong. Skills training education and employment creative/expressive-based programs self-help groups focusing on life skills tools and actvities that support and encourage recovery activities for self others and to contribute to community aid with navigating the system and the community.
