Paws for Hope Animal Foundation

Ongoing programs: paws for hope animal foundation (the 'foundation') is dedicated towards responding to the immediate and urgent needs of animals in crisis and functions to significantly improve the overall welfare of animals through education programs awareness campaigns and community support. -'guardian angel' program - provides thousands of dollars in emergency and organizational development funding to pre-qualified volunteer-run animal rescue organizations in b.c. Each year. -provides funding support to homeless and low income earning pet guardians for critical veterinary care of their pets. -education and awareness campaigns regarding the retail sale of pets through a pets are not products campaign -'better together' program - provides a one health veterinary health care program for low income families. In addition to a significant subsidized veterinary care clients receive support from a human support coordinator including veterinary care decisions and referrals to community social services. -'nobody's pets' program - animal transportation and transfers trap/neuter/return programs and veterinary care support in smaller communities.
