About Partners Relief and Development Canada Foundation
Partners' on going programs are to assist the refugees migrants and internally displaced persons from myanmar (burma) working along the thai/burma border and in refugee camps engaging in: crisis relief (emergency shelter food clothing medical services) education programs children's homes and student hostels developing training centres weaving and sewing programs healthcare training and delivery agriculture training and development human rights abuse documentation and reporting church and community leadership development supporting bible schools and students. Partners works primarily with seven ethnic groups; the thai karen kachin shan karenni chin and rohingya; however no person in need in the areas we are working in is excluded on the basis of ethnicity colour or religion. Partners also provides emergency relief (food medical clothing shelter) and trauma care therapy medical assistance and education in bangladesh and the middle east (iraq & yemen). The work in southeast asia is being done through the mitmaitree foundation. The work in the middle east is being done through partners relief & development/prd.
