We recruit screen and match volunteers with vulnerable citizens in the west island. Our volunteer advocates provide practical emotional and social to support the disadvantaged persons or groups in the community. Volunteer recruitment is ongoing through information sessions media interviews a long-term publicity campaign and community outreach. Community apartment program: this program with the help of five local churches provides housing and support for 26 adults who live with a mental illness. Seniors liaisons: with the help of social crisis volunteers this project provides support and information for seniors who are in a social crisis or in an abusive situation e.g. Financial physical or psychological. Rendez-vous arts: offers painting classes to adults struggling with various health and mental issues to improve their quality of life through artistic expression. Income tax service: a program that offers income tax preparation all year-round to the community at large; eligibility requirements may apply. Tablet program: this program aims to provide our most isolated seniors with an easy-to-use tablet to maintain contact with their advocates and loved ones.
