Parliamentary Centre/Le Centre Parlementaire

The Parliamentary Centre is a Canadian not-for-profit non-partisan organization that supports parliaments around the world. Our assessment strategic planning and training programs combined with research products and networking channels help legislatures measure their performance build capacity tackle key issues and promote mutual learning. In short – we help legislatures better serve their people. Parliamentary Centre programing activities include training and advisory services to Parliaments and their staff regarding good government and Parliamentary capacity building in areas such as public financial management transparency improved accountability and deepening democratic processes. Methods include providing and coordinating seminars workshops study visits research and publications and encouraging dialogue between Parliaments and with civil society and other interested parties. Parliamentary Centre is conducting projects in Ghana Togo Kenya Ukraine and women legislators working in defense and security (WLID) No New programs this fiscal year.
