Parachute Leaders in Injury Prevention

Parachute delivers programs that increase public awareness and educate Canadians regarding preventable serious injuries and deaths at home at play and on the roads through training communication dissemination of information and publication of resources. Parachute conducts and sponsors research into injury prevention techniques and treatment and promotes research in the field of injury prevention. Parachute provides support and resources for local programs across Canada to reduce serious injuries and to measure and monitor their effectiveness. We convene experts conversations and communities to promote injury prevention and advance our understanding of how we can keep Canadians safer at home at play and on the move. Our local partners in communities activate our programs across Canada integrating their expertise and our resources to educate children families athletes road users and others about preventing injury.
