Papineauville Protestant Cemetery Board

A mail campaign was carried out netting $3 665. The annual board meeting was held on august 10 2024. Board members are not financially remunerated however the secretary-treasurer opted for a tax receipt in lieu of reimbursement for postage/office supplies. The municipality of papineauville designated the cemetery a heritage site in 1992. Due to the fact that board members are elderly and there is no one to continue this function a decision was made to request the municipality take on the upkeep of the cemetery. Negotiations are on-going.
