A. To advance education by conducting a long term research study of fin whales (balaenopters physalus) humpback whales (megaphera novaeangeliae) killer whales (orcinus orca) which inhabit the coastal waters of british columbia in particular within the marine territory of the gitga'at first nation and disseminating the results of the research to the public. B. To advance education by increasing the public's understanding of whale populations and the marine environment by providing workshops information sessions and by operating a whale interpretive center for the public where individuals can learn about whale abundance life history and behaviour and c. To carry out activities which are ancillary to the above mentioned chartiable purposes.
