Pacific opera victoria association is committed to the following purposes: - to advance the public's appreciation of the arts by creating and staging professional opera for greater victoria and for regional national and international audiences. - to provide canadian artists with opportunities to expand their repertoire and to offer training opportunities to students of music and theatre in the discipline of opera production. - to enhande the impact of opera through curated events and activities that engage diverse communities. - to provide opportunities for youth to appreciate and participate in opera and to promote the use of the arts as a resource for educators.
