Pacific Institute for Sport Excellence Society

Pise continues to focus on transforming lives through healthy activity and sport with a strong focus on health and education. We work with 10 000 children in the year on a weekly basis in schools summer camps and programs. Pise offers fitness centre memberships health and wellness programs for adults and persons with a disability and offers the fitness space to over 400 students for their education with the centre for sport and exercise education with camosun college. Our physical literacy team continues to be in high demand and our leaders are regularly requested to train leaders at other rec centres across the region. Our cycling programs continues to grow particularly at the pre-school age group. Further pise is home to the canadian sport school where student athletes receive support in their training and education. Pise also rents facility space to many user groups and continues to operate and maintain a facility that is welcoming and accessible to all users.
