Promote support and manage operations for sport culture and recreation services within the community for the benefit and wellbeing of all citizens -provide ice surfaces for community recreation and ice sports including curling figure skating and hockey -provide swimming lessons and swimming facility for community recreation and watersports -provide gym facility for community clubs and individuals to use -provide campsites for recreational use stage facilities for community events ball diamonds for local club use -provide grants and support for sport culture & recreation in the community -oversee facilities and management -provide recreational and cultural programing opportunities and feasibility studies to ensure the facilities are operating efficiently
