The owen sound knights of columbus council 2092 is a fraternal organization of roman catholic gentlemen. We support and donate funds to: a) the roman catholic diocese of hamilton ontario. B) saint mary's of the assumption roman catholic church and missions owen sound ontario. C) the canadian martyrs shrine midland ontario. We donate funds to canadian and ontario charities and to school's youth education youth sports programs and various community projects in grey and bruce counties. We donate funds through saint mary's church (owen sound) catholic charities and our knights of columbus council to help our less fortunate local community members. We support and have committed to donate funds to the residential hospice of grey bruce owen sound ontario. We have raised funds in support of the needs the grey-bruce health services. Oshare food program cmh society safe in school hous9ing and foodbanks in owen sound and adjacent locations. The service club arm of our organization entered into a project with a local radio station to raise funds for cmha - for children's mental health. This is the fourth year of such operation. Such funds with the exception of donations from vendors back to the charity which are receipted through or charitable trust (item c2 income) are handled and dispersed through a separate lottery ticket account.
