Ovs provides short term emotional and practical support for victims of crime and tragic circumstances in partnership with police and community services. Vcars dispatches volunteers to support survivors 24/7 in the community. Vscp provides safety planning and 911 cell phone to high-risk victims of criminal harassment domestic violence and sexual assault. Vqrp+ provides financial support on behalf of the ontario ministry of children community and social services to victims of violent crime. The ovs-vsu project is a partnership which allows ovs staff to access police reports and identify clients needing support through ovs.
