Ottawa valley islamic centre st barnabas anglican church deep river and deep river community church joined forces to sponsor refugee families pooling resources and expertise to provide housing support services and community integration opportunities . Together ottawa valley islamic centre and the churches are forming a sponsorship committee fundraising securing accommodations and offering ongoing assistance to ensure refugee thrive in their new environment. By fostering unity and compassion within the community this collaborative effort aims to make a meaningful impact while promoting understanding and solidarity among diverse groups.
