Optimist Club of Stratford Charitable Foundation

To establish maintain and/or preserve public amenities public recreational and atheltic facilities public community centres and events and public commmunity programs and services all for the purpose of benefitting local communities youth and the general public. And to operate programs and activities for the development of youth in the stratford area including activities and programs designed to promote an active interest in good government and civic affairs; to inspire respect for the law; and to promote patriotism and work for international accord and friendship among all people. And to receive and maintain a fund or funds and to apply all or part of the principal and income therefrom from time to time to qualified donees as defined in the income tax act (canada) as amended from time to time. The corporation shall be carried on without the purpose of gain for its members and any profits or other accretions to the corporation shall be used in furtherance of its purposes.
