Ontario Museum Association

The ontario museum association: provides information of interest to museums; offers professional development programs to upgrade the quality of museum work; develops professional practices and procedures and makes presentations to various stakeholders on ontario museums and their work; provides consultation and advisory services on request to the museum’s community and the public at large on museum matters; fosters and provides support to improve museums as collecting exhibiting and research institutions; promotes the public understanding and awareness of museums.
