Ontario Bird Banding Association

Members continue to contribute to the scientific knowledge of birds by operating individual and operative banding projects bird observations and banding stations across ontario. We continue to offer banding demonstrations give presentations on banding and offer assistance to people interested in learning more about banding in ontario. Publish ontario bird banding and obba newsletter (1-3 times per year). Participate in north american banding council. Present janette dean award annually. Present the wasserfall memorial award as well. This annual award is presented to a group or an individual to support bird banding and related studies of birds in canada.
