Operation of a museum: collecting assessing displaying artifacts highlighting pioneers and businesses marking historical sites providing educational programs inviting visitors and offering tours hosting annual historical reenactments Operating a heritage centre: renting space to community groups and organizations offering programs in cooperation with the public library renting space to individuals and families for sports wellness and educational activities Developing public resource rooms for historical documents public reading room marking historical buildings continual upgrading of facility new museum displays being developed In conjunction with local first nations expanding and redefining local indigenous displays and information. Developing and painting wall murals depicting items of historical significance to the area to showcase those served by this organization including first nations seniors settlers equipment ways of life.
