Oleg and Friends Inc.

The series oleg and friends presented three concerts in the season 2023-2024. The first one took place on february 16 2024 and was dedicated to fearless bravery and firmness of ukrainian people against russian invasion of their country. The second concert featured the graduate piano quartet of the university of manitoba performing the music of brahms which took place on april 21. And the last concert on may 19 featured the virtuoso duo oleg pokhanovski violin and daniel tselyakov piano performing violin transcriptions by rachmaninov and chopin. All the concerts were well the series will not be active during 2024-25 season due to the personal professional plans of its artistic director oleg pokhanovski who made an agreement with the recording company to complete a music project which will take place in boston us around april 2025. The series will continue its activities in the 2025-26 season. One of the significant projects will be the concert dedicated to ravel’s 150th anniversary in the fall of 2025.
