Providing information about the conservation of important habitats and species at risk on your property. The society operates to cooperatively promote the voluntary stewardship of important habitat on private lands and within communities. -providing information and recognition of demostration projects and oustanding stewards in our newsletter -supporting community stewardship initiatives or groups to improve habitat in local neighbourhoods -to protect the environment for the benefit of the public by educating the public on conserving ecosystems and by conserving ecosystems through saving supporting protecting or assisting stressed or endangered forms of life and restoring biodiversit -providing technical assistance with enhancement projects such as planting native vegetation along a stream fencing livestock out of sensitive habitat or revegetating an eroded grassland -providing advice from on a stewardship and permanet conservation options and opportunity. Provides information and assistance to private land stewards and community groups on habitat conservation restoration and protection
