Oakvillegreen Conservation Association Inc.

Oakvillegreen conservation association (oakvillegreen) is a non-partisan environmental charity founded in 2000. Our vision is to make a oakville living city with enhanced natural diversity stronger connections between natural areas and healthier green spaces. Oakvillegreen: 1) reconnects people to the natural environment in their neighbourhood and across their community; 2) increases awareness among the residents of oakville of the importance of nature and; 3) moves them to take action to protect enhance and restore oakville's natural environment. Oakvillegreen works hand-in-hand with thousands of volunteers to restore the ecological functions of local lands and waters creating a more resilient and connected community. Specific programs that fit under the above descriptions include greenroots mulchfest green connections for adults 55+ depave paradise pollinator gardens treeplanting invasive species community education and native plant sale.
