Nourish programs support leadership by the health care sector to adopt practices that use the power of food to build health for people and the planet. The organization hosts action learning programs to engage hospitals and long-term care facilities to support indigenous foodways and shift to more climate-friendly menus that are plant-rich sustainably sourced culturally mindful and reduce carbon. It runs a national anchor cohort to surface innovation and to develop leadership and collaboration on preventative health through food. Mentorship training and webinars to the seven teams currently in the anchor cohort provide resources for land-based learning experimentation around six 'food for health levers ' and the development of scalable practices. The organization leads strategic communications and facilitates workshops to identify systems change opportunities to inspire health organization action around food to heal better reconnect and nourish patients and communities.
