The northwestern alberta foundation supports the community in a variety of ways. We are unique because we encompass all areas of community including arts & culture education health environment social services seniors sports & recreation disaster relief and children & youth. Everything we do is designed to help build more vibrant healthy and resilient communities across the entire northwestern alberta region. We accomplish our work by harnessing the gifts of energy ideas time and donations of caring residents to make meaningful and lasting impacts. We work at developing relationships with communities and individuals and their families creating a measure of trust and investment of faith. -we work with donors to build endowment funds and flow through funds that ensure vital futures for communities long-term resources for long-term solutions -we grant funds to the widest possible range of organizations and initiatives vitality comes from all corners of a community -with leadership projects like vital signs and random act kindness we bring people together from all parts of our communities to stimulate new ideas build and strengthen our community.
