Its principal purposes and ongoing programs are: (a) to preserve and promote Aboriginal culture language heritage traditions and customs (b) to strengthen families and communities (c) to provide opportunities for youth in supporting their endeavors and to foster their contributions (d) to raise awareness and promote the diverse roles of Aboriginal women families and our community (e) to provide leadership opportunities (f) to support educational opportunities and training (g) to recognize and embrace the contribution made and continue to be made by Aboriginal women (h) to support and educate everyone on healthy living and healthy choices (i) to own and operate suitable facilities (j) to provide culturally appropriate safe and empowering options for women children and all families and (k) to extend our help and support to Aboriginal communities of Fort Nelson and surrounding area.
