North Shore Rescue Team Society

The society provides for search and rescue of lost standed or injured persons in the local mountains and canyons and to assist civil agencies during other emergencies and disasters. Programs activities included 139 search and rescue operations in the year. These operations involved more than 3900 man hours of rescue volunteer times plus over 5000 hours of extensive ongoing training programs for member volunteers and public educcation presentations on wilderness safety awareness.
