North Shore Dragon Busters Society

We are a dragon boat team with the goal of improving the physical and psychological well-being of those who have had breast cancer. We regularly participate in a variety of Dragon Boat Regattas to raise awareness about breast cancer and hope to encourage others with a similar diagnosis to live full and active lives. We regularly reach out to the community looking to provide support to others with breast cancer and we encourage those that can join us in being as active as possible. We have year-round activities both on and off the water and we always welcome anyone who wants to know more about us to join in. These activities include but are not limited to new member nights new paddler nights scheduled walks/hikes box fit classes fitness classes outdoor pickleball games and dragon boating. We participate in community activities that help raise awareness about cancer including setting up a local marketplace booth and attending relays walks & runs. We also keep a display on the oncology unit of a local hospital letting others know we are here to help if needed
