Sage House is an 18-bed transition house for women and children fleeing abuse. It provides food clothing referrals and advocacy. Sage Second Stage provides longer term housing for women and children with complex housing needs. The Women's 24 hour Support Line assists with a range of issues related to women and violence and abuse. Hope's Place and Janet's Place provide accommodation and ongoing support for women and children who are at risk of abuse violence or threats. The Prevention Education Advocacy Counselling and Empowerment (PEACE) Program provides support for children and youth aged 3-18 years who have witnessed or experienced violence threats or abuse. The Homeless Prevention Program helps women fleeing violence who are homeless or at risk of homelessness to access safe accommodation. The program assesses client needs and connects women with stable accommodation and appropriate services. The Outreach Services Program provides support advocacy and referrals for women and children fleeing or at risk from abuse violence or threats. The Multicultural Outreach Services Program provides culturally sensitive outreach services with a focus on immigrant and refugee women. The Clothing Program ensures that clean good quality clothing shoes and other items donated by the public are provided free of charge to women and children in our programs as well as individuals referred by other community service agencies.
