North Mountain Cultural and Recreation Association

The association provides and maintains recreational and cultural facilities and organizes activities for the residents of the area as well as for visitors tourists and watercraft operators. The Association has a Little Library taking in donations from the community. It is open two mornings a week enabling community members to come and borrow books and socialize. The Association has a Heritage Display room sharing small items representative of the Historical Marble Quarry the community grew up from as well as the school that was an important part of the community until the 1970's.
