About Nobleford Area Museum Society
Collect research catalogue digitize label store and display historic information & artifacts & cultural history. Build on the historic book depository for the resource centre. Host school aged students to tour the museum and connect information and artifacts with the latest curriculum standards. Open the museum to the public for viewing provide interpreters for open days as well as private bookings. Provide community connections with special day events and offer demonstrations (such as traditional blacksmithing) the film 'a noble vision' is available for viewing. Volunteer hours estimate 425 hours. Area project and detailed research ongoing. Will get casted plaques and will display plaques (commemorating the 1st one room school house) in the vicinity of the original school location for 2025. A celebration and new display to be opened to showcase the plaques and contributions. Book exchange for the summer months.
