Nine Mile River United Church

We had a draw/raffle (valentine's) to help support our programs. We maintainted our monthly worship services for the community. This serves to grow a strong community through support and friendship. Through financial support we have contributed monetarily to the local food bank (caring+sharing) program to help end food insecurities. We had a xmas angel memorial gathering/service to honor all community members who have passed. We are planning a tea + sale (which will serve as a low cost gathering event for members of our community). We are planning on low cost clothing and food drives for our community. We are in the building stages of a physical food pantry for the community. All food in the pantry will be free to the community. The food will be maintained through community donations and will be funded through raffles (fundraising) throughout the year.
