'Training For Jobs' (3): three employment programs focused on (1) youth (2) multi-barriered and (3) immigrant job seekers. These programs offer individualized job coaching one-to-one workshops short-term certificate training job search/start supports (clothing PPE transportation childcare etc.) life skills training connections to employers and labour market guidance. COVID-response saw increased virtual one-to-one appointments and flexible training plans. 'WorkBC Employment Centre ' Enderby: drop-in work-search centre and case management services to help job seekers find and maintain employment. The program offers job coaching essential skills training short-term certificate training client job search supports self-serve computers and job board. COVID-response saw increased virtual one-to-one appointments and individual bookings for self-serve services. 'Better at Home': helps seniors stay in their own homes for as long as possible by offering subsidized services including transportation grocery shopping light house cleaning light yard work minor home repair and friendly visiting. Over 30 regular volunteers assist in delivering services. 'Telephone Events and Activities for Seniors' (TEAS): telephone group get togethers to play games community presentations health and wellness talks and other activities for seniors to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation. 'Connect': helps people overcome barriers by offering assistance with: completing forms online applications understanding next steps speaking with government agencies problem-solving computer and internet access and information resource and referral. Issues include but are not limited to: clothing food support housing transportation employment dental and health issues legal problems mental health support addictions treatment and more.
