Newfoundland & labrador housing & homelessness network inc. Is a charitable organization designed to further the following purposes: a) to advance education among community organizations established to address homelessness and relieve poverty by providing training and holding educational conferences and seminars on topics related to the relief of poverty and homelessness and conducting and making publicly available researc related to poverty and homelessness. B) to relieve poverty by providing employment-related training and work experience through a social enterprise cafe in st. John's newfoundland to needy unemployed and low skilled workers. C) to relieve poverty by providing assistance and support in food security to homeless/marginalized individuals and community shelters throughout newfoundland and labrador. D) to receive and maintain a fund or funds and to apply all or part of the principal and income therefrom from time to time to qualified donees as defined in subsection 149.1(1) of the income tax act (canada).
