Neighbourhood dance works (newfoundland dance presenters inc.) is mandated to promote and support the growth and vitality of a vibrant contemporary scene in newfoundland and labrador. The main programs in 2023-2024 included: festival of new dance a province wide tour of ballet kelowna and planning for the atlantic dance gathering. The program allowed support working artists and technicians maintaining a loyal audience base attracting new publics and volunteers and engaging the dedicated board of directors who remained focused on governance oversight. Several initiatives were funded through special recovery funding streams which included a national digital now project audience re-engagement regional development fund and supports arts workers program
