New stages is a professional not-for-profit theatre company based in peterborough whose goal is to produce high-quality thought-provoking contemporary theatre with some of canada's finest theatre artists in order to challenge entertain and engage our peterborough audience. New stages seeks to partner with like-minded organizations to provide transformative experiences that enrich the lives of those in our community. New stages is committed to providing professional development to local artists plays and youth through mentorship training workshops and direct participation in events that feature leading national and local talent. From july 2023 to june 2024 new stages peterborough increased from five to eight theatrical events in peterborough ontario from last fiscal year
