New Circles Community Services

New circles is an innovative agency that offers clothing services community referrals and skills building programs to newcomers to canada residing in the greater toronto area. Our core programming includes the clothing program which provides basic necessities to 100-140 people daily. Our clothing program is set up like a 'department store' model. Uniquely designed we offer a retail shopping experience with free gently used clothing that not only preserves dignity for clients but also provides a learning platform for training in retail and customer service skills. With our small staff complement we rely on the support of volunteers to run many of our programs. We have a total of 185 volunteers registered of which 150 are active at any given time. Our volunteer program enables us to reduce operational costs while allowing us to support members of the community gain valuable work experience and an opportunity to practice english as well as build a network of friendships to help in settlement and community building.
