National Service Dogs (NSD) is dedicated to empowering Canadians to reach their full potential through specially trained and qualified service and facility dogs. NSD deploys dogs through 4 key programs: Autism Service Dogs for children PTSD Service Dogs for the veteran's and 1st responder community Skilled Companion Dogs for children with a variety of challenges and Canine Assisted Intervention Programs; including education justice and peer support facility dogs. NSD relies on hundrends of volunteers who donate close to 300 000 hours per year to help raise and prepare future service facility and companion dogs.
