Educational Food Gardens Programs. This includes operating 2 demonstration garden sites and a greenhouse peer to peer mentorship and workshops. The sites are used for tours visits field trips and other community activities. The Gleaning Program operates to reduce food waste in the Nanaimo region. Volunteers provide invaluable work for all aspects of NCGS operations and this amount is included in the year end financial reports.
