The organization operates to provide culturally and spiritually sensitive humanitarian and social services to the muslims and non-muslims communities of the waterloo region. Ongoing programs include: -immigration partnership council: to help to ease those transitions to help immigrants and refugees get the best start to their new life in waterloo region. -regional municipality of waterloo: equity and diversity -caregiver/teen conflict coaching -hear me out: focuses on to address social isolation as well as foster resiliency and commnunity connectedness among visible minority youth who identify as muslim in the kitchener-waterloo area. -ontario trillium foundation: resilience through mental health support peer support net working events. -community gatherings -senior seminar/workshops and outdoor gatherings -counseling support: mss clients receive year-round in-person online and phone counselling support -mental health workshops: mss organizes spiritually integrated and faith-based mental health promotion and support workshops. Mss remains committed to supporting the community through these ongoing programs fostering resilience mental health community integration and well-being
