Mental Health Programs Youth Programs Khair Pantry and Counselling are ongoing in nature. The Muslim Youth Hub focuses on engagement and enrichment platform for strengthening our young ummah’s Islamic identity and community belonging. The Mental Health Programs are available to everyone and include services like religious counselling support groups and Healing Circles. The Khair Pantry strives to fulfill the needs of families and people who are in need of food whether its temporary or long term. Another ongoing medical program called HOPE is where the charity get people in the community to sign up for Canada Blood Services to provide the much-needed blood bank. The charity provides medical triage for the homeless community refugees and families that enquire about their medical condition/problems. Our medical professionals host workshops and educational seminars for the community to help them understand their health and well-being and teach them self-care. The Enlightenment Program for disabled youth aims at empowering children and young adults with disabilities. We provide opportunities for youth to communicate interact and develop life skills arts and crafts and coping strategies. We offer a range of complementary programs and services to support our work with disabled youth. These include behavioral interventionist special education workshops recreation and leisure programs music and art therapy support groups for parents and caregivers and advocacy and policy programs. The ELEVATE Workshop Program is a unique initiative that aims to empower women of color women from low-income backgrounds and marginalized women by providing them with skill-building workshops resources and tools. Through this program we aim to raise awareness of harmful practices that negatively affect these groups and prevent them from having fulfilled rights as active members of their community.
