Promoting community awareness leadership and vitality through facilitating individual and group educational opportunities and discussion forums throughout the district of muskoka to help build and foster smart and caring communities. Promoting the benefits of endowments and endowed giving as a way to provide stability and allow for long term planning and support for local charities. Promoting a variety of ways in which individuals and groups can engage in philanthropy. Administering donor advised grants advising and administering flowthrough grants and grants to communities. Grants were distributed to universities and colleges accross ontario as educational grants through the south and central almaguin fund and the stan darling environmental educational fund. In addition educational grants were made to public and high school students through the youth citizenship & service fund in order that students who face financial contraints can participate in school trips outside of muskoka
