Music Toronto

Music toronto produces a main fall-winter series of traditional and contemporary chamber music concerts and recitals including international and canadian artists. We produce a mini series called celebration of small ensembles 'cose' that is designed to support early career artists and develop new audiences. We also produce a series of master classes in cooperation with the royal conservatory and the university of toronto faculty of music that give senior students of music performance the opportunity to work with visiting concert artists. In 2023-24 composer advisor '...' offered pre-concert talks that enriched patron's understanding and appreciation of featured contemporary repertoire. When possible we have also presented outreach events such as concerts in schools seniors homes and alternative venues. During the 2023-24 season music toronto enhanced the cose series with the addition of a mentorship conponent that supported early career artists performing on the series.
