Mt Calvary Lutheran Church

The congregation is a worshipping learning witnessing & serving community of baptized persons among whom the word of god in the bible is proclaimed and the sacraments are administered according to the gospel. In accordance with the beliefs and teaching of the evangelical lutheran church in canada. It provides support to enable the fulfillment of the mission and ministry of the church at home and abroad. Locally the congregation gathers and delivers food the to bridgewater nova scotia food bank and via it's ladies and give cloth items and desserts to our local synodical church camp. Synodically and nationally the support mission and ministry (both spiritual and social) via remittance of benevolence monies to eastern synod of the evangelical luterhan church of canada. The work of the church outside canada is the responsibility of the national church through monies routed to them out of the aforementioned monies which the synod received from this and all of it's congregations.
