To educate the public and increase public awareness about the causes and effects of and treatments for mental health issues and substance abuse by offering courses seminars conferences and meetings and by collecting and disseminating information on that topic. To educate the public and reduce prejudice and discrimination around mental health issues and substance abuse by offering courses seminars and conferencses and meetings on that topic. To conduct research for the benefit of the public into the causes of and treatments for mental health issues and substance abuse. To undertake activities ancillary and incidental to the attainment of the above charitable purposes.
