About Mountain View Hospice Society
Hospice:To support families on their end-of-life journey we offer peaceful Hospice Suites designed to bring comfort and calm. These warm private spaces allow families to spend meaningful time together as they accompany their loved ones. Grief & Bereavement Our Bereavement Support team offers one on one support to those experiencing loss. This is open to our client’s family members as well as the community at large. We offer compassionate support at no cost for up to four sessions with trained facilitators to learn coping strategies as well as give a safe space to express thoughts and feelings. We also provide 8 week bereavement support groups with trained facilitators. Nav-CARE ‘s specially trained volunteer navigators help improve the lives of people living with chronic/terminal illness by creating connections to community services and resources and providing caring compassionate emotional and social support. Linda’s story started out by accessing NavCARE support for her mom and transitioned into Hospice support. Volunteer Driver program which allows volunteers to drive clients to medical appointments and for food security. One on One Bridging bereavement session with qualified individuals.
