PURPOSE 1. TO ADVANCE EDUCATION BY: (A) ESTABLISHING AND OPERATING AN INTERNATIONAL MUSIC TRAINING PROGRAM FOR STUDENTS; AND (B) PROVIDING PUBLICLY AVAILABLE SCHOLARSHIPS FOR STUDENTS TO ATTEND THE MUSIC TRAINING PROGRAM. 2. TO ADVANCE THE PUBLIC S APPRECIATION OF THE ARTS BY PROVIDING HIGH-QUALITY ARTISTIC PERFORMANCES IN VENUES ACCESSIBLE TO THE PUBLIC. ACTIVITIES: - THE CHARITY WILL RUN AN EDUCATIONAL MUSIC PROGRAM THAT MOST OF THE STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO ATTEND ON SCHOLARSHIPS FREE OF CHARGE. - THE STUDENTS WILL ALSO PERFORM FOR THE PUBLIC. - THE CHARITY PLANS TO CARRY ON ITS MUSIC PROGRAM IN VARIOUS LOCATIONS. THE CHARITY WILL CARRY OUT THE PROGRAM DIRECTLY THROUGH ITS EMPLOYEES AND VOLUNTEERS IN EACH COUNTRY WHERE THE CHARITY RUNS THE PROGRAM. Morningside Music Bridge on Tour’s primary objectives are to: • identify and promote outstanding Emerging Artists; • provide enhanced educational and performance opportunities that these Emerging Artists would not encounter in their day-to-day courses of study; • promote inter-cultural understanding and mutual respect among all members of the Morningside Music Bridge community; • train Emerging Artists in professional music making while retaining the joy and wonder that music creates in life; • build a bridge of understanding and creativity that spans the world;
