Miramichi Valley High School Scholarship Fund

As in the past we as a high school appeal to businesses and individuals in our community to contribute to our prize and scholarship fund. The purpose of the fund is to reward graduating students for obtaining high marks and to assist grads (financially) who will pursue post-secondary education. Our campaign consists of letters emails and phone calls to former and potential new donors. In early May a list of available bursaries/scholarships and the application are posted/made available to students. A committee (comprised of administration and guidance) reviews the student applications then awards the prizes/scholarships based on need academic accomplishments and other criteria previously selected by the donors.
