Migration Community Hall Kingsville

Migration Community Hall has operated since 1994 as a venue for local fundraising activities performances and sporting events for the residents of Kingsville and Essex County. The facility is owned by the Greater Essex County District School Board and is jointly operated by an independent volunteer Board of Directors as a not-for-profit registered charity whose mandate is to enrich the community by providing opportunities for theatre and musical groups athletic events and community organizations to perform and engage in social and physical activities for all ages. During Migration Community Hall Kingsville’s fiscal year 2023-2024 there have been regular monthly Board of Directors meetings and several events were planned which provided local performances and events for the public. Funds raised by these events allow Migration Hall Board of Directors to pay for operating expenses (phone internet ticketing systems contract work and insurance). In June 2023 Migration Hall players produced the musical 'Brigadoon' and a local dance school held their spring recital. The Discovery Childcare held a 'graduation' ceremony for the pre-school class as well in June. In November 2023 a Kingsville Christmas House Tour was held as a fund-raiser for Migration Hall. In December 2023 Migration Hall sponsored a holiday evening at Lakeside Park with free train rides and hot chocolate for children and families. A holiday performance of 'It’s A Wonderful Life' was performed as a radio play by Migration Hall players. In February 2024 a comedy performance of 'Arsenic and Old Lace' was produced and enjoyed by the community. In December and May Darcy's School of Dance held recitals to share their achievements with local audiences. 'The Prom' a musical co-produced by Cardinal Productions with Migration Hall was held in April 2024. The local high school performed the play 'Mean Girls' in the venue in May 2024.
