Metis Settlement Education and Training Incentive Scholarship Society

Provide financial assistance for post secondary education to qualifying individuals. A donation of $102 434.75 was recieved from the métis settlements general council on march 8 2022. This donation was restricted for the creation of an endowment fund for the purpose of providing financial assistance to métis students. Determiniation of the criteria to be used to grant these funds is still under discussion between the parties. The funds have not (and cannot) be disbursed until such determiniation and agreenment has been reached.
