Messiah Lutheran Church of Assiniboia Inc.

Worship services are held weekly and at set days according to the church year. In june of 2022 we hired a full time pastor after approximately a year of pastoral vacancy. We hold holy communion services twice a month. We have a sunday school program for grade school children that generally meets twice a month during the school year. We have a confirmation program for grades 7 & 8 that meets weekly during the school year. Our young families ministry held regular events throughout the year. Our music ministry consists of the gospel band and other pianists organists and singers who provide musical leadership for all our worship services. We offer bible studies mid-week lenten studies book studies 'messy church' for families with children twice a month during the school year ladies' crafting get-togethers. Property maintenance which includes the church attached education unit and separate parsonage is ongoing and whenever possible done by volunteers in addition to our weekly janitor's duties. Support activities include the overall administration of the church including secretarial financial and communications.
